peanut butter overnight oats

These peanut butter oats are perfect for an easy nutrient-dense breakfast or balanced mid-day snack! Made with just 5 ingredients and topped with IQ bar for extra protein. Serve cold after refrigerating overnight, or heat up the oats in the microwave for 30 seconds before serving. If you like sweet treats, this one is for you.

ingredients

1/4 cup oats

1/4 cup milk

1 tsp maple syrup

1 tbsp chia seeds

1 tbsp peanut butter

IQ bar (I used the peanut butter chip)

recipe

  1. in a small mason jar or 6-8 oz glass container mix oats, milk, maple syrup, chia seeds, and peanut butter

  2. place into the fridge for at least 1 hour, ideally for 6 hours (aka overnight)

  3. serve cold or microwave for 30 seconds to serve warm

  4. chop IQ bar into pieces and add to the top of overnight oats

  5. option to top with a drizzle of peanut butter and enjoy!


prep time: 10 mins

nutrition per serving: 425 calories, 20g protein, 22g carbohydrate, 25g fat, 17g fiber, 188 mg sodium.
