pickled red onions

Here's a tip for adding color and nutrition to any meal or snack! These picked red onions only take 15 mins to make and can be added to salads, wraps, grain bowls, and avocado toast.

1/4 cup thinly sliced red onions

2 tbsp water

1/4 cup white wine vinegar

1/2 tsp honey

1/4 tsp sea salt


  1. in a tupperware or mason jar with a lid, mix together red onion slices, water, white wine vinegar, honey, and sea salt

  2. let sit for 15 mins (onions should be a bright pink color)

  3. add to salads, grain bowls, wraps, and avocado toast!
