turkey, spinach, and feta burgers

A fried of mine made these burgers on a boat trip and everyone loved them - so here they are for all of you! The feta and tzatziki is so refreshing, such a perfect summertime burger for grilling. These are easy make, provide lean protein, and even pack in veggies! I promise they’ll be a hit.

Make all 10 patties for a large party, or make them to freeze and eat throughout the week.

ingredients (makes 10 burgers) 1 lb lean ground turkey

1 cup frozen spinach

1/2 cup feta

1 tsp oregano

1 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp ground pepper

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

recipe

1. add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl

2. form into patties and place on a sheet pan to either bake in the oven or place onto the grill for cooking

3. cook on each side until patties are thoroughly cooked

4. plate on a whole wheat toasted bun with tzatziki, lettuce, tomato, red onion, sweet peppers, and enjoy!

prep time: 30 mins

nutrition per burger: 145 calories, 13g protein, 1g carbohydrate, 10g fat, 1g fiber
