cream cheese crostinis

I made these to bring to a friends house for happy hour and they were an absolute hit! Everyone loved them and they were eaten up quickly. The best part is they look much fancier than they are - made with simple ingredients that are easy to put together.

Make these to bring to your next happy hour for a balanced healthy option, or have a few as a snack!

ingredients

6” baguette cut into thin slices

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp garlic salt

1/4 cup whipped cream cheese

1 persian cucumber, thinly sliced

2 tbsp fresh dill

3 sprigs fresh mint leaves

optional edible flowers to garnish

recipe

  1. preheat oven to 350F

  2. place thinly sliced baguette pieces flat on a large sheet pan

  3. drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat

  4. sprinkle with garlic salt and place into oven for ~20 mins until bread pieces are crispy and browned (flip over halfway)

  5. add a thin layer of cream cheese to each crostini

  6. top each with a cucumber slice

  7. season with fresh dill and mint, garnish with edible flowers and enjoy!
